Patricia Harmon, Ph.D.
Patricia Harmon is an organizational development consultant and works as a business analyst, facilitator and executive coach. She is a member of the Duke Corporate Education Global Learning Resources Network and is an adjunct faculty member at Cornell University where she teaches Emotional Intelligence: An Edge for Leaders.
Pat has designed and conducted creative thinking and innovation workshops for North American organizations such as Deutsche Bank, Estee Lauder, GE, Goldman, Sachs, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Motorola and New York Times.
She works with senior executives in Leadership Development in the areas of Innovation and emotional intelligence. Using assessment-based technologies, including the Innovation Leadership AssessmentTM and the Emotional Quotient InventoryTM, Pat helps clients assess development needs, link development to business strategy, and implements customized development using a systems approach. Previously, she was the founder and principal of a communications advisory service serving many of the Fortune 500 companies around the world, after having worked in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry in Canada for ten years.
Pat holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Executive Program, an MA in Human Development, and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from The Fielding Graduate Institute. She is the author of The Mind of an Innovator: A Guide to Seeing Possibilities Where None Existed Before.
In her spare time, she is a District Leader in the 4th Congressional District for the Humane Society, advocating for animal rights.
