Patricia Harmon, Ph.D

Patricia Harmon is an organizational development consultant and works as a business analyst, facilitator and executive coach. She has designed and conducted advanced thinking workshops for global organizations such as American Standard, Estee Lauder, Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan Chase, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Motorola and New York Times.

Pat helps organizations in their efforts to bring about change by examining business trends,extrapolating from them and helping companies create value. Beginning with the strategic planning process, Pat works with executives to help form their strategic direction while using innovative thinking methodologies, biomimicry and eco-sustainability as a major thrust.

She also facilitates an Executive Leadership & Development process that is used widely by leading global corporations. This advanced assessment-based technology helps clients assess development needs, link development to business strategy, implement customized training solutions, and measure the results. Included in her practice are the Innovation Leadership Questionnaire (“ILQ”) and the Emotional Quotient Inventory (“EQ-i”).

Pat is the author of The Mind of an Innovator: A Guide to Seeing Possibilities Where None Existed Before.

Pat holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Executive Program, an MA in Human Development, and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development from The Fielding Graduate Institute.  She also serves as an adjunct professor at Cornell University.

 

Paul Seroka

Paul Seroka has served as a board-level advisor to hundreds of executives, private investors and entrepreneurs with a focus on business development, strategic marketing and applying Apple technology to help individuals achieve their business-oriented objectives.  He utilizes Pat Harmon’s proprietary innovation leadership assessment product (ILQ) and all service offerings to help each client achieve their unique objectives.  On a project basis, Paul completes assessments, prepares plans and presentations, and implements customized programs designed to meet each customer’s unique requirements.  His expertise involves helping customer’s create SMART goals, analyze their human resource and change management offerings, while developing cost-effective strategies for organizational change that closes the gap between “their current state and desired state.”

Seroka brings a global management perspective to each engagement. He completed the TRIUM MBA degree, a global executive management program conferred by the NYU Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC School of Management in Paris.  Since 1981, he has provided management advisory services to over 65 organizations, including leading companies such as Apple, IBM, Nestle Foods, and Time Inc.  Through his consulting firm The Seroka Group, Paul has acquired an expertise in the consumer products, financial services, food service, energy, real estate, and professional service market segments.  Between 1995 and 2002, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at three high-growth companies while providing services to his corporate clients and earning a NYU e-commerce certificate. Today he serves as Pat Harmon’s senior business development and strategic marketing executive and a key advisor to select clients.

As an executive and organizational coach recently certified by New York University, Paul enjoys supporting clients that desire working with a results-oriented, strategic marketing communications professional.  Before he started his consulting career, Paul earned an M.A. degree in Public Affairs from Fordham University, and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Oswego State University.

 

Philip Young, Ph.D.

Phil has over 25 years of experience designing and delivering corporate education programs in business acumen all over the world. He is currently a faculty member of Duke Corporate Education’s Global Learning Network – a program consistently ranked #1 by the Financial Times and Business Week.

As an MBA professor in finance and economics for over 30 years, he has received numerous “best instructor” awards. He is the co-author of a leading MBA textbook and a popular business trade book available in English, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. His clients rank among top global companies in industries such as information technology, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, consumer goods and consulting. Phil received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii, a Master’s degree from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in economics from New York University.

He lives in Chappaqua, New York with his family, and enjoys playing jazz guitar, cooking holiday feasts, and visiting his grandchildren in Brooklyn.

 

About Dave Basarab

Dave has been in training and development for thirty-six years and he has been a practicing evaluator for twenty-five years.  He graduated from The University of Akron School of Education with a degree in Secondary Mathematics and Business Education. He received his Masters Degree in Educational Administration for the University of Dayton. For the first five years of his career, he taught math and business in Kettering, Ohio.

In 2001, Dave Basarab led the Employee Development and Performance organization for Pitney Bowes mailing systems unit. Here he led a team of learning professionals, and the department received a prestigious ranking in Training’s Top 100 for 2005. Dave was featured in a 2005 Wall Street Journal article on using business simulations in leadership development and was awarded the “2005 Learning Innovation Award” from Chief Learning Officer magazine.

In 2007, Dave Basarab founded V.A.L.E. Consulting, LLC, which offers PE services to global customers, partnering with them and providing evaluation studies of the highest quality in a cost-effective manner. Evaluations are fully customizable and unique to their courses. Dave also provides PE workshops (classroom or Webinars) that teach training evaluation expertise so that you will be able to conduct a PE and evaluate Intention, Adoption, and Impact. All courses are fully customized to meet your needs. Dave also provides evaluation coaching on predicting training value, performing Intention, Adoption, and Impact evaluations.

Dave lives with his family in Atlanta and enjoys golf and online gaming.

 

Bill Corbin Sanford, Ph.D.

William applies 38 years of experience in the diversified high-technology, biodiversity and biomimicry categories. His diversified high techno-logy credentials include serving as a space shuttle scientific advisor to NASA, a corporate liaison for Teledyne Systems and the Department of Physics at UCLA, a plasma physics research volunteer at UCLA, a former member of the UCLA Department of Physics Research Counsel, a Manufacturing and Project Engineer for deep space electronics for Teledyne Systems and Litton, Vice President responsible for transfer of new products to production at both Pacific Transducer and Phoenix Scientific and Cabin Systems Engineering at Boeing.

William’s biodiversity experience includes managing cross-cultural communications as a Member of The Boeing Company Diversity Council and extensive international ecosystem observations in over

twenty countries around the world. He is also a charter member of the Boeing Biomimicry team applying biological observations to engineering solutions.

William holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sacramento State University in Biology and Chemistry and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in Cell Biology and Bio Physics. He has served as a faculty member at Oklahoma State University in Biophysics, Cell Biology, Experimental Embryology, Zoology, Cancer Research, Tissue Culture and Physiology. He’s also been a faculty member at an International University, World Campus Afloat leading Marine and Terrestrial Biology studies.
